Who is Ada Ehi?
Ada Ogochukwu Ehi, commonly referred to as Ada Ehi, was born on September 18, 1987 in Nigeria. She is a gospel vocalist, songwriter, recording artist, and performer.
She began her musical career as a backup vocalist for child star Tosin Jegede when she was ten years old. Ever since her Loveworld Records debut in 2009, she has amassed a growing following on a local and global scale via the dissemination of her music and music videos.
Private life
Ehi, who was born to Victor and Mabel Ndukauba, was raised alongside her three siblings while being exposed to gospel music. She is a native of the Nigerian state of Imo. She was invited to join the Girls ensemble, led by the Nigerian child star Tosin Jegede, at the age of ten.
Lagos State University granted her a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Polymer Engineering. Throughout her collegiate career, she participated actively in the Believers Loveworld Campus Fellowship.
She joined the Christ Embassy Choir shortly thereafter and has been an active member of the church choir ever since. 2009 saw Ehi’s arrival at Loveworld Records.

While still in college, she met her future spouse, Moses Ehi, at Christ Embassy church during one of her rehearsals. Following their 2008 wedding, the union produced two offspring.
Musical Career
Ehi has been actively engaged in the Music Ministry of Christ Embassy since becoming a member of the Christ Embassy Choir. Throughout the globe, he has performed at Christ Embassy events for a number of programs, including those in Europe, the United States, and several African nations.
In November 2009, her debut album Undenied was released. The two-disc album Lifted & So Fly was made available in November 2013. On October 16, 2017, she published her third studio album, Future Now. The same day it debuted at number one on iTunes Nigeria.
Ehi was recognized as one of the “100 Influential Christian Personalities in Nigeria” by YNaija in 2017. Among those nominated, she emerged victorious at the 2017 Groove Awards for West African Artist of the Year, surpassing Frank Edwards, Sinach, Joe Praize, and the Preachers.
“Only You” was ranked among the 20 most viewed Nigerian recordings of the decade in 2019.
She was awarded her initial YouTube Plaque on August 26, 2021, in recognition of amassing one million subscribers on the platform.
