Khabirat Kafidipe Acting Career

Kafidipe made her acting debut in 1996 in the Mainframe Productions short film “The White Handkerchief,” which aired on MNET. She then appeared in the film Saworoide, which propelled her to prominence.

Subsequent to that, she has contributed to the production of predominantly Yoruba films, including but not limited to Agogo Eewo, Obiri Oloja, and Oju Kan Epa.

After gaining prominence at a relatively young age with her performance in Tunde Kelani’s Saworoide, where her unadulterated affection for another rooky, Arese-ja-bata (Kunle Afolayan), encounters difficulties, Kabira and her sister Ayisat realized their ambitions and entered the film industry.

Following the successful release of Oga, Iwalewa was conceived in less than two years. Subsequent to that, the film sisters have essentially vanished from public view. They introduced a new film, Malaika, in 2010.

Khabirat starred in the 2014 Nigerian drama film Dazzling Mirage, which Tunde Kelani produced and directed. She oversaw the production of the 2015 film Bintu, which had its premiere at the R&A Hotel at Opebi in Ikeja, Lagos State.
