Pheelz, whose given name is Philip Kayode Moses, is a composer, singer, and music producer.

On June 5, 1994, he was born in the Ojo local government area of Lagos State. Pheelz is 28 years old at present.

The instrumentalist and beat behemoth is a producer of diverse genres, including Afro-beats, jazz, and hip hop.

“Ridimakulayo,” his signature term, is widely recognized for its role in diluting a portion of his beats.

He is credited with producing numerous number-one singles, including “Jore” by Kizz Daniel & Adekunle Gold, “Party Scatter” by Teni, “Durosoke” by Olamide, and “Jore” by Fireboy DML.

His collaboration with Bnxn (previously referred to as Buju) produced the hit single “Finesse” in 2022.

EDUCATION 

Pheelz pursued his secondary education at Ideal Comprehensive High School, Afromedia Ajangbadi, subsequent to completing his elementary schooling.

Pheelz gained recognition as a producer in 2012 following his production of the successful singles “First of All” and “Fucking with the Devil” by Olamide, which appeared on his YBNL album. He was subsequently included on NotJustOk’s list of the “Top 10 Hottest Producers in Nigeria” as a result.

With the exception of one track, he was credited with producing the entire Baddest Guy Ever Liveth album by Olamide. In a similar fashion, this earned him a nomination for an award at the 2013 Headies.

Additionally, he received a nomination for Producer of the Year at both the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and The Headies. 

Popular tunes and albums credited to Pheelz include The Chairman by M.I., Ghetto University by Seyi Shay, and Seyi or Shay by Seyi Shay. 

In 2014, he also collaborated with COPILOT Music and Sound on a cover of “Maria Caipirnha (Samba da Bahia)” by Carlinhos Brown. The arrangement in Visa’s “Samba of the World,” a digital campaign in commemoration of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, symbolized the musical instruments and genres of Nigeria. The Headies 2020 recognized and awarded “Producer of the Year” to Pheelz.

As soon as his production “Finesse” achieved international acclaim, on March 15, 2022, he entered into a record agreement with Warner UK. Pheelz announced the release of Electricity, which featured Davido, on August 19, 2022. The song has topped a number of music platforms and is currently the talk of the town.
