Segun Arinze was a native of the state of Lagos in his birthplace. Lagos State is a Nigerian state located in the southeastern region. It is worth noting that his mother is of the Igbo tribe, whereas his father is of the Yoruba tribe.
Segun Arinze, who was born in Lagos state but raised in Onitsha, Anambra State, his maternal home, does not identify as a “Lagos boy.”
Education
Both of Segun Arinze’s elementary school years were spent in Onitsha, Anambra State. He acquired his First School Leaving Certificate in that location.
He concluded his secondary education at Taba Commercial College in Kaduna State, after attending Victory College of Commerce in Ilorin, Kwara State.
It was at Taba Commercial College that he obtained his West African Certificate Examination Results.
Subsequently, Obafemi Awolowo University granted Segun Arinze admission, where he matriculated and successfully completed his Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Arts.
Career
Professional Segun Originally, Arinze was a musician. His music-related career in the entertainment industry commenced in 1992. Subsequently, he oversaw the production of his debut album. Its title was “Dreams.”
Following a brief foray into the music industry, Segun Arinze was cast in a motion picture. This attribute bestowed upon him numerous benefits, one of which was the inclusion of his appellation. His response in the film “Black Arrow” was, notably, his moniker.
Segun Arinze ascended to prominence subsequent to his appearance in that film.
