Early Years
On February 21, 1994, Fatima Ganduje Abiola was introduced into the world by her parents, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Hajiya Hafsa Ganduje.
Ganduje village, located in the Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, is her place of origin. Being of northern descent, she was raised in a Muslim family. Three are her siblings.
The incumbent governor of Kano State is her father. His current term in office is his second. Her father had previously held the position of Deputy Governor of the state for two terms, from 1999 to 2003 and from 2011 to 2015.

Furthermore, she holds the esteemed position of Special Adviser on NGOs and Civil Society Matters to the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, RT. Hon Femi Gbajamiala. She is an active member of the public sector. In 2019, she was appointed to the position.

She is presently married and a devout Muslim. Idris Ajimobi, her spouse and beloved, wed her in March 2018 when she was twenty-four years old.
Idris Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State, is the sole parent of Idris.
Sen. Ajimobi, her father-in-law, passed away in the year 2020 at the frigid hands of death.
