After producing the successful single “Story For the Gods,” which was taken from Olamide’s Street OT album, the “Wicked Producer,” as he is colloquially known, rose to prominence.
Because of his work producing albums such as Street OT and 2 Kings, the celebrity producer was listed number three on the NET’s list of Nigeria’s top seven largest music producers.

Where was Young Born?
Ibadan, Oyo State, was where a Christian family of Akwa Ibom heritage welcomed infant John on February 16, 1995.
A native of Osun state, he attended GOF College in Osogbo and Ideal Foundation Primary School in Ibadan.
Presently enrolled at the University of Ibadan, Young John is pursuing a degree in Communication and Language Arts.

Young John began his musical career as an infant, when he became an extraordinary rhythm master. Before being acquired by Hit Factory Studio in 2012, he co-founded the musical ensemble AVG with his siblings.
A hit recording by Olamide entitled “Story for the Gods” was produced under his supervision at the label. For his contribution to the critically acclaimed hit single Bobo, which he also produced, he received a nomination for Producer of the Year at the 2015 Headies.
